POLYCHROMIC TRACKS > In 1999, while I was working on a artistic project during a residence in a suburban city of Northern Europe, I received the proposal for a short work missions abroad.

During summer, i became tour leader and my job was to take care of a small group of people during tours. 

Then began my peregrinations which were going to take me along Greek islands to Morocco, while passing Senegal and more recently Australia and Japan…

Since i was young, maybe because, i received from my dad post cards from all over the world, I had dreamed of travel, action and movement, looking for nomadism, as many occasions to face the unknown while i was collecting raw materials very precious to me : words, photographs, minerals or pigments picked up here and there along the routes where I sometimes lost myself, certainly to discover myself again.

Once those elements meticulously filed, i had to work them all. I was started to mix tools and traditional techniques, brushes, inks, pigments with digital tools, they became also essential to my work, a world of images in between painting and photography, a sort of Polychromic tracks in a way...
